About Sun-esu

We began in 2003 with the goal of providing our customers with Japanese-made products and conveying Japanese culture and traditions. I jumped into this industry without knowing my left or right, and during that time, I traveled all over Japan searching for artisans who are now extremely rare in Japan in order to meet our customers' needs. I met artisans who continue to carry on traditional techniques and who currently support our business. I work with them daily, crafting products based on customer feedback. While still inexperienced, I strive to provide our customers with high-quality products by working hand in hand with our artisans. In addition, in our own factory, the owner personally crafts geta sandals with authentic makie and lacquer lacquer lining, various setta sandals, and zori sandals. We carry a wide range of sizes, from geta sandals and zori for small children to kimono sandals for men and women, and setta sandals for sumo wrestlers. We also accept custom orders for most products. We hope to bring a touch of Japanese culture to everyday life through footwear.
